Who We Are.......
The Mount Olive Chess Club was founded in 2014 to help children experience the many benefits of playing chess—including improved focus, strategic thinking, and problem-solving. Our goal is to create a positive and supportive environment where kids not only develop their skills but also learn important life lessons like patience, resilience, and how to accept loss with grace. We also host regular chess competitions to encourage growth, build confidence, and celebrate effort and improvement.
